Bartram Beach Homes began on a single stretch of shore on Bartram Avenue Beach and grew into something we never fully planned, but always believed in.
There is a particular kind of place that becomes woven into a family story without anyone deciding it should. Bartram Avenue Beach is that place for us.
For more than 45 years, it has been where we came to slow down, gather, and be together. The kind of place where the same walk to the water feels different every year because you’re a little older, or someone new is making it beside you, or you’re suddenly the one carrying the chairs your parents used to carry. You know how it goes. Every family with a shore place knows.
Bartram Beach Homes started from that feeling — from a belief that a well-loved home can do something for the people who stay in it that a hotel never quite manages. That a place with a kitchen and a porch and enough beds for everyone creates a different kind of memory than a room with a view.
What began as a single second home became, over fifteen years of hosting, a managed portfolio across Absecon Island — Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, and the towns that surround them. Not because we planned to build a company, but because we kept finding homeowners and guests who wanted the same thing we did: a Shore home that felt like it was being looked after, by people who actually cared.
That’s still what we’re doing. The homes are different. The guests keep coming back. The feeling is the same.

In 2026 we took the philosophy behind Bartram Beach Homes that great experiences are designed, not accidental and applied it to something new. STAY Tennessee is our sister hospitality brand, rooted on Tennessee Avenue in the heart of Atlantic City’s Orange Loop.
The Orange Loop takes its name from the orange properties on the Monopoly board Tennessee, New York, St. James. It is one of Atlantic City’s most exciting emerging districts, and STAY Tennessee sits at its center. A private karaoke club. Tennessee Ave. Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee and gathering space. A craft and art studio. Five suites above the stores, managed by Bartram Beach Homes, for guests who want to live inside the experience rather than visit it.
STAY Tennessee is what happens when you stop thinking about hospitality as a transaction and start thinking about it as a place. We built it because we believed the Shore deserved it. We think you’ll agree.
